North West Scotland Mammal Network
The NW Scotland Mammal Network is an affiliated Mammal Society local group, and exists to build awareness, engagement and support for mammal monitoring and conservation across North West Scotland, in order to increase quantity and quality of biological records for the area, and strengthen UK-wide science-led conservation.
To stay informed of upcoming events email us to be added to our mailing list, and/or join our Facebook group.
Membership of the network is free to anyone interested in mammal science and conservation - whether or not you are able and willing to participate in on-the-ground activities. Some trainings and events may be ticketed to cover costs or raise funds for local and national conservation. The Committee reserves the right to refuse membership to the Network if they are aggressive, offensive, or intolerant. Healthy debate about issues around mammal conservation and monitoring is welcomed in the group or at meetings and events if it is civil, respectful and inclusive.
If you are interested in helping with the administration of this volunteer-led network please contact the Committee:
