Emily is a CIMA qualified accountant who decided to bring her substantial experience in financial planning and analysis to the Mammal Society in order to channel her passion for nature and British wildlife into a meaningful role.
“Throughout my career, I have gained substantial experience in financial planning and analysis, ensuring the business is performing optimally, whilst operating within relevant regulations and financial constraints. I have received consistent, positive feedback on my ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a data-driven way. I’m enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply these skills to help contribute to The Mammal Society’s important mission. During my travels so far, I have witnessed firsthand the diverse beauty of nature and critical need for conservation. I am drawn to The Mammal Society’s dedication to protecting our native mammals and my career break has afforded me the time and focus necessary to dedicate myself to the responsibilities of the Treasurer role.”
